New Date May 21, 2022

Hi All

After further consideration of the issues mentioned in my email earlier this month, I've decided that there are so many constraints and unknowns still attaching to any potential travel from Australia in September/October - and a ride happening in November is definitely not appealing - that the time has come to kick the can down the road again.

So I'm seriously considering a new scheduled ride start date of 21 May 2022.

May '22 may seem a long way off but I'm contacting the potential riding group now, since there's only six months until the currently-scheduled start date and people may be itching to make alternative travel/recreation arrangements, once covid-free later this year. A big unknown for me is how to maintain enough physical capacity to do the course next year but that's a risk I'm more than willing to take. Even if it means regular rides on my non-powered Bike Friday, to maintain condition in the meantime!

It will likely be a few more months before I can start making changes to my overseas flight bookings and I'll revisit the September/October motel reservations at around the same time. Hopefully, overnight destinations and venues will remain unchanged for May/June, 2022.
